Organiza and iTAG Offer ERP with RFID, in Partnership

Kalua Confeccoes, from Paraguay, uses Organiza’s business management system with iTAG’s radio frequency identification solution, to carry out constant inventories in a short time

For a few months now, I have noticed that the executives responsible for adopting radio frequency identification (RFID) narrated their implementation experiences to me as “a dream come true”. In other words, those responsible for RFID implementations in their companies simply love the results they reap from their investments, something that moves from the merely rational terrain of concrete benefits to a totally emotional approach, expressed in happiness.

And why does this happen? I first need to remember that I analyze RFID market for  more than 20 years, been one of the pioneering journalists in covering this technology in Brazil (and in the world), having edited not only websites, magazines and printed newspapers with this subject, but talking about the business aspects of RFID at Eldorado Rado Station, from Estado de Sao Paulo Group, and also in several lectures inside and outside Brazil.

What made me follow RFID and its benefits for business more and more deeply was always the inspiration that this technology has the potential to drastically improve business, guaranteeing market competitive advantages, reliable inventory and circulation of goods control, positively impacting in Supply Chain operations, Distribution Centers (DCs), Retail Stores, Sustainability, Circular Economy and Consumer Experience.

I have observed that investments and visions for RFID are still very heavily concentrated in Supply Chains, Distribution Centers (DCs) and Retail Stores, operations that can quickly amortize RFID expenses and that pave the way for other benefits. The European Union, for example, has a roadmap for Circular Economy until 2050, which requires investments in RFID to make the Digital Product Passport (DPP) a reality.

Having said that and returning to the emotional enchantment mentioned above, RFID creates this operational well-being in organizations because it guarantees broad and complete control of goods, allowing production, shipment, arrival, delivery, sale, and all intermediate processes to be viewed, without having to counting nothing manually or moving employees to expensive and inefficient initiatives.

A good implementation, with suppliers specialized simultaneously in one’s field industry and in the RFID technology, offers a level of reliability and reduction of concerns that causes happiness, this peace of mind that the work is being carried out well, without the risk of theft and fraud. And more and more companies have achieved these benefits, which brings as an additional factor mental peace for managers.

Paraguay company Kalua Confecções success story expresses well this state of mind that companies gain from RFID well implemented in their management systems. Kalua has been using Organiza – Software Solutions management system in its organization for over 10 years now. Organiza company that has 25 years of experience in providing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for the textile sector and headquartered in the city of Erechim, in the north of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Kalua Summer Collection: RFID tags in every product

Thanks to Organiza’s partnership with iTAG Tecnologia, recognized integrator of radio frequency identification (RFID) born in the city of São Paulo, and now with strong international operations, Kalua started to integrate RFID in its factory and in one of its 13 stores, as an initial test of the technology.

The benefits, such as completing an inventory in just three hours that would take several employees days, made the textile company celebrate the implementation and define expansion for all stores and a long-term RFID strategy.
